Centenary Christian Kindergarten is centrally managed by QLECS. We are supported by a PFAB (Parents and Friends Advisory Board), which consists of current friends and parents who in consultation with Service Leader and staff support the strategic direction of the Kindy and organise social events (usually 1 per term). Committee meetings are held once every Term and all families are welcome to attend.
Thank you to Milton Dick MP for a $5000 Grant to upgrade our IT facilities and improve our connectivity (October 2018).
Thank you to Coles Junior Landcare for their vegetable garden and bushtucker plants grant. With the funding they provided, we were able to install three raised garden beds, fill them with organic soil, mulch and plant seedlings that grew into a bountiful harvest of vegetables. The children enjoyed tending the garden, harvesting the produce and cooking it into meals that were shared at lunchtime. We are also looking forward to trying the fruits of our bush tucker trees!
